Where Consistency Dies

Habits aren’t hard to start. They’re hard to make habitual. Especially when we're at work, feeling the pressure and relentlessly squeezing a million and one things into our day.

I’ve been there, waking up determined to honour habits. Next thing you come home feeling exhausted. Low energy. Long day. And suddenly habits are for tomorrow.

Not today. It was time for me to change the habit of habits!! So, here's one thing that actually helps me...that works, consistently.  A simple morning habits list teamed with self-discipline to earn a tick in THAT box.

The good news...I'm winning before I've even stepped foot out of the door. One habit, one day - build your list, be kind to yourself. Focus on one thing at a time. You can do this! When your habits are written down:

• You don’t negotiate with yourself

• You get a small win every time you check it off

• You're more likely to do it and sustain it!

Is this your year to change your habit of habits? Or are you celebrating consistency? Let's share, where are you in the habits habit?

p.s. I'll tell you all about strength cards another day!!
